Frequently Asked Questions

1) Do I need a prescription from my doctor to come to physical therapy? No.  You DO NOT need a prescription to come to Physical Therapy. Our office staff will assist and guide you through the process of starting therapy.  

2) Does my insurance pay for Physical Therapy? ProCare Rehabilitation accepts Medicare and all major insurance plans.  If your plan is not listed above give us a call to verify our participation.  

3) Does ProCare provide treatment for workers compensation, motor vehicle and accident cases? YES.  We are licensed by the State of New Jersey to do so.  

4) What do I wear to a Physical Therapy appointment? Loose fitting clothing that allows the problem site to be exposed.

5)  How Long will a Physical Therapy appointment take visit take? Please allow 1 to 1 1/2 hours for the initial visit and 45 minutes to and hour for additional visits.
