Were you at the Firecracker 4-miler? We were!!!

On a dreary, muggy Fourth of July morning, ProCare employees, family members, friends, former, and current patients showed off their patriotic pride in style at the Cranford Jaycees 4-Miler event in Nomahegan Park. Once again this year Springfield Avenue was filled sidewalk to sidewalk and as far as the eye could see with eager competitors. Among them were our very own Bri, Amy & Chase. Family members Donna and daughter Stella (in the stroller) ran with friend Gretchen finishing with a respectable time. Former patients Pat and Lance were in the field of runners-once again proving that "Physical therapy can get you back in the race!" Thank you for running with the ProCare team. Current patient Mia also ran showing off her return to running. Congratulations to all the participants!!!!

As usual, Kathy and Mary Clare handled the tent with a couple of new additions. We had mats and foam rolls available for participants to use for their stretching in preparation for the race. Of course, the foam rolls were adorned with the ProCare logo. In fact, the overall Male and overall Female winners were presented with one at the award podium. Festive ProCare beach balls were available for some of the younger kids as well.

We really enjoyed seeing so many of you who are a part of the ProCare Alumni Association. Thank you for stopping by say hello.

A terrific time was had by all in support of a very worthy charity of the Cranford Jaycees. The next 5K we'll be supporting is the Miracles For Myeloma 5K at Oak Ridge Park on September 26, 2015.
